Broken or Defective If an item arrives broken or is defective in any way we'll repair or replace it, whichever is deemed to be required when the item has been returned. Change of Mind We are not required to provide a refund or replacement if you change your mind per the Australian Consumer Law which is viewable on the ACCC website - https://www.accc.gov.au/publications/refunds-returns.
But you can choose a refund or exchange if an item has a major problem.
This is when the item:
has a problem that would have stopped someone from buying the item if they had known about it
is significantly different from the sample or description
doesn’t do what we said it would, or what you asked for and can’t be easily fixed.
Alternatively, you can choose to keep the item and we will compensate you for any drop in value.
If the problem is not major, we will repair the item within a reasonable time. If it is not repaired in a reasonable time you can choose a refund or replacement. As GeoGear is an online business the definition of reasonable time is increased due to the shipping/return process by the carrier used to return the item.
Lost in Shipping If an order is lost in the shipping we'll reach out to the carrier who we used and arrange for it to be traced. As the process is external to us we're not able to provide an ETA for a resolution but we will keep you updated during the entire process.
